Join us for a fun and family-friendly community event for landowners, residents and all the amazing pest control volunteers in the Whangārei Heads area!

Meet, mix and mingle with like-minded folks in your area + learn about all the great things happening in this peninsula. The Possum Free Whangārei Heads project will give an update on how it is progressing with the diverse 9,000+ha elimination project. Plus, enjoy some free pizza* from your local Owhiwa Rd Pizzeria!

This event will be in two parts:

10am – 12pm: Presentations – after a welcome, we will have some presentations from community and the Possum Free Whangārei Heads project.

We would like to welcome everyone to the event by starting off with a mihi whakatau (welcome). This will be at 10am – please don’t be late!

12pm – 1:30pm: Food and stalls – Owhiwa Rd pizza truck will be there with their delicious wood-fired pizza. Plus we’ll have neat stalls from Kiwi Coast, Kiwilink, Weed Action, a kids play area, and much more!
*Free pizza is limited so be there on time to not miss out

Parking

Please park at the Bowling Club next door (see image at the end) as we will have stalls set up in front of the Parua Bay Community Centre (unless it is pouring down with rain!)
